Maiden of the Deep

This large painting was inspired by my love for the end of a thunderstorm. The thunderstorms that I have experienced over Lake, Michigan, and in the mountains of Germany are ones that I’ll never forget. After the thunderstorm passes, the sky seems to open up and the light reveals itself once again.
